Paracetamol 250mg
Point :
Paracetamol is widely used to treat mild to moderate pain and fever.
Pain: Used for temporary pain relief in the treatment of mild to moderate pain. The most effective medicine is pain relief. low intensity of non-visceral origin. Paracetamol has no effect on treating rheumatism, and is an alternative to salicylates for pain relief or fever reduction.
Fever: Often used to reduce body temperature in patients with fever
Contraindications:
The patient is hypersensitive to the drug.
Patients are often anemic or have heart, lung, kidney or liver disease.
Patients with glucose – 6 – phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency
Dosage and Administration :
Dissolve the medicine in the amount of water (suitable for babies) until dissolved. Take once every 6 hours, no more than 4 times/day.
Oral dose: Average 10 – 15 mg/kg body weight/time. The maximum total dose should not exceed 60 mg/kg/24 hours. Or divide
Dosage is as follows:
Children from 1 – 2 years old: drink one packet/time
Children from 2 – 3 years old: take % packet/time Children from 4 – 6 years old: Take 1 packet/time.
Children aged 7 – 9
Age: Take 1% sachet/time.
Children from 10 – 11 years old: Take 2 packets/time
Or as directed by your doctor.
Side effects :
Skin rashes and other allergic reactions occasionally occur. Usually erythema or urticaria, but sometimes more severe and may be accompanied by drug fever or mucosal injury. Patients sensitive to salicylates are rarely sensitive to Paracetamol and related drugs. In a small number of individual cases, Paracetamol has caused neutropenia, thrombocytopenia and pancytopenia.

Special precautions and warnings when using the drug:
Paracetamol is relatively non-toxic at therapeutic doses. Occasionally there are skin reactions including pruritic maculopapular rash and urticaria. Other hypersensitivity reactions including laryngeal edema, angioedema, and anaphylactic reactions may occur infrequently. Thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, and pancytopenia have occurred with the use of p-aminophenol derivatives, especially with prolonged use and large doses. Neutropenia and thrombocytopenic purpura have occurred when using Paracetamol. Agranulocytosis is rare in patients using Paracetamol.
Use caution in people with pre-existing anemia.
You should not prolong self-medication for children, but consult a doctor when: New symptoms appear, high fever. and lasts more than 3 days or recurs. Pain is severe and lasts more than 5 days.
Doctors should warn patients about signs of serious skin reactions such as Steven-Johnson syndrome (SJS), toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) or Lyell’s syndrome, generalized exanthematous pustular syndrome. Acute body (AGEP).
